About INSIGNA
INSIGNA is a biotechnology startup located in EnterpriseWorks in the Research Park at the University of Illinois. The company is working towards developing injectable animal sterilizers. 
 
Position Description
This position offers a student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign an opportunity to obtain an internship on campus while pursuing their degree. The intern will be tasked with analyzing various trials from third-parties by conducting literature review and summarizing the information found for utilization by the team. This literature review will assist the company in working towards formulating ideas for developing the sterilizers based on previous and active research in the field.
 
Intern Responsibilities
- Reviewing and synthesizing insights from scientific literature review
- Provide information on active areas of research in the field 
- Communicate findings and progress to project leaders weekly
- Collect scientific knowledge that exists in the space sterilization 
 
Position Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled as a student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
- Must be familiar with the research in the area of cell biology, developmental biology, and other similar fields
- Must be able and willing to work 10-15hrs/wk during the Spring 2019 semester
- Hourly wage will be reflective of experience level
