Insigna is excited to offer this executive-level position to lead the company’s clinical research and innovation efforts as it works with the various regulatory agencies around the world to take its product to market.  This is an incredibly unique opportunity to start at ground zero with a company that will have a far-reaching impact on the care and welfare of animals, as well as to provide innovations and treatment options to the broader academic and veterinary communities alike.

  • Direct Insigna’s research laboratories
  • Lead clinical/basic research programs
  • Be the principal investigator of current awarded grants and future grant submissions
  • Oversee all regulatory applications and submissions, including but not limited to the FDA and EMA
  • Act as the lead point of contact and liaison for all regulatory meetings and communications
  • Partner with the Founder to project manage product development, research and product testing
  • Partner with the broader executive team to ensure product development, manufacturing, marketing, and sales efforts are aligned
  • You have a Ph.D. or DVM/VMD 
  • Prior experience in biomedical research or veterinary pharmaceutical research
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as a strong comfort level with public speaking and Q&A sessions
  • Ability to critically evaluate technical materials and edit for clarity
  • Ability to work in a hands-on entrepreneurial environment and desire to grow with the company
  • Experience in or knowledge of FDA highly preferred but not required
  • Computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Computer skills, commensurate with essential functions, including the ability to learn a validated system
  • Ability to work under specific time constraints
