Description:
InnSight Technology, Inc is an innovative biotech startup that is dedicated to translational research initiatives that will advance diagnostics and evaluation of eye disease. Our primary focus is on the development and commercialization of the OcuCheck biosensor – a novel, hand-held, point-of-service device for detection of tear film biomarkers. This is the first device of its kind to provide an accurate, quantitative measurement that can assess the integrity of the corneal surface after surgery or trauma. The device is easy to use and provides immediate results. Current methods require subjective examination performed by physicians, while the OcuCheck makes it possible for non-specialists to quickly and objectively identify severe cases of eye injury.

We are seeking highly motivated Research Interns to join our R&D team. Interns will work with research engineers to develop and validate a commercial prototype of a disposable biosensor. An exciting opportunity for talented undergraduates with a strong background in engineering-related fields and an interest in biomedical science, prototyping, and entrepreneurship.
